The Swine Flu and GBS
I have a real problem with the lack of attention and media coverage regarding GBS (Guillain-Barré Syndrome). Although the media has regarded H1N1 (the Swine flu) as an unknown entity, it has been around since the 1970’s. Five boys were arrested after setting another boy on fire
When I first heard the story of this 15 year old boy being burned by 5 other boys, I was shocked, then saddened. How could any child think it is okay to put another person on fire? Who are the mothers of these kids and why aren’t they going to jail as well. Then I remembered my son’s experience 3 years ago with 5 of his friends.
